Select Tool

The select tool allows you to operate on sections of molecules.

• Selection mode allows you to select individual atoms when clicked, biomolecular residues (e.g., amino acids, nucleic acids) or an entire connected molecule.
• Click on an atom or fragment to select it.
• Click on another atom or fragment to select it and de-select the first.
• Hold down the shift key to select multiple atoms or fragments.
• Hold down the control key to toggle selections.
• Drag the mouse across space to "rubber-band" select a set of atoms.
